Casa do Alto is a hidden haven in the centre of the Algarve, only 25 minutes from Faro Airport, ensuring a wonderful, unforgettable stay, just outside the mass tourism areas.
Every winter, since 2016, we work on the further enhancement of our property and investing our time and profit to become more sustainable and eco-friendly.

A good night’s rest, a fresh and healthy start of the day, so you can spend your time exactly as you had in mind.
Whether that is reading a book at our poolside, or having your ‘workation’ in our quiet garden, we are here to make sure you have everything you need.
A perfect base for sightseeing
Take your car, or even better one of our rental bikes and within a circle of 10 kms you will find everything that the Algarve has to offer:
Rocky beaches to the West, dunes and wide beaches to the East; Authentic villages, the famous Loulé market, beautiful hills overlooking the coastline more inland.

We just loved it!
- Luxury is to have a small hotel with friendly staff available to make you have a nice stay. The pool (in a good temperature) has a wonderful atmosphere (sun-beds and outside tables that were disinfected after every use, so good Covid hygiene) to relax and enjoy. The garden is really pretty and you can notice the care they have built the place with love and care.
Perfect place for an animal lover
- Staff were exceptional. So friendly. Fridge was handy. Pool area gorgeous & quiet. Loved having the pets around. Perfect peaceful break for an animal lover.

- The Hotel is more a spacious ground with pretty little houses and partly beautiful terraces in the front. The site is beautifully planted and lovingly maintained by the hotel employees. Our absolute highlight were the animals that live on the site and came to visit us every day :-). We had booked a small comfort room and mistakenly assumed that we had a balcony – the Hotel offered us a great and much larger suite, in which we could move into after just one night (stay of ten days). The breakfast was great.
A great Boutique Hotel
- A great little boutique hotel that is on the way to becoming an awesome retreat within easy reach of Vilamoura and surrounds. The staff are wonderful and so helpful. We wish we made a bit more time to stay a little longer to relax here and explore more of the nearby beaches.
